Punch International is a continuation of the successful conpect of Kratkofi Punch, and in 2015 it's coming back even stronger and on an international level. The new edition is realized in cooperation with the Flimmer Film Festival from Norrkoping, Sweden.
Punch International will introduce participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sweden with the basics of production of socially engaged documentary film, and enable them to produce a short documentary film with the help of professional supervision. The films will comprise an omnibus and will premiere at the next editions of Kratkofil Plus and Flimmer.
This project seeks passionate activists who want to turn their stories into film and learn how to use another medium, short documentary film, for their community work and work towards the social improvements.
During the following spring months, the participants will take part in a school of short documentary film and learn from production supervisors, big Bosnian and Herzegovinian and Swedish documentarists, Boel Zetterman and Branko Lazic. The learning process will also include experts in camera, editing and other accompaining processes. Films will premiere at Flimmer and the 9th edition of Kratkofil Plus and with promotional activities, followed by the international festival, online and TV distribution. The participants will have a chance to be a part of all the promotional activities and talk about their stories, as well as experience with their film debuts.
Punch brings change in socially sensitive topics through film and provides individuals and organizations with new tools for expression of their free thought and attitudes.
